BOX PRINT® reproductions on wood

Dolan Geiman BOX PRINT reproductions are archival images of original Geiman artworks digitally reproduced on wood. Geiman released his first set of BOX PRINT artwork in the fall of 2007 as an affordable and ready-to-hang alternative to traditional paper and canvas giclees. Each BOX PRINT reproduction is signed, numbered, and shipped ready-to-hang, eliminating the hassle and expense of matting and framing normally associated with prints.

In detail, BOX PRINT reproductions are high-quality inkjet images digitally reproduced onto wood panels by a large format printer (not paper prints mounted to wood panels). Each BOX PRINT includes a natural-colored, poplar back-frame, adding depth to the piece against the wall. BOX PRINT reproductions are UV-treated for color fastness as well as for protection against handling, alleviating patrons' concerns that inquisitive children or general household activity might come to damage the work. BOX PRINT reproductions can be dusted, gently wiped, and can withstand years of exposure to direct sunlight.

NOW A GREENER PRODUCT
Best of all, BOX PRINT reproductions are easy on the pocketbook and the environment. The artwork images are printed with 100% solvent-free and VOC-free inks onto formaldehyde-free hard board panels. Poplar, used for the back-frame, is often considered an eco-friendly wood choice because it is a fast-growing, underutilized, and readily replenished wood species. Please note the subtle color variation between the printed foreground panel and poplar back frame.
